Turning Taste Into A Talking Point

As April wraps up, we had to give a nod to one of the most imaginative, and mouth-watering activations of the month — a deliciously unexpected April Fool’s campaign from our client, Lily O’Brien’s, in collaboration with Crown Paints.

We worked closely with our long-time client, Lily O’Brien’s and the UK social media agency, Real Edge, to introduce the Crown x Lily O’Brien’s Lickable Paint: a luxury chocolate-infused paint inspired by some of Lily O’Brien’s most indulgent flavours — Crème Brûlée, Hazelnut Torte, and Raspberry Infusion.

The concept was a rich blend of taste and design, inviting people to reimagine their home décor through the lens of flavour. Simply paint, wait… and lick.

This sweet twist on a traditional April Fool’s Day moment brought Lily O’Brien’s personality to life — fun, clever, and innovative. It sparked real engagement, made people smile, and reminded us that the best brand storytelling often starts with a bold idea and a touch of imagination.

No walls were actually licked in the making of this campaign — but the buzz was very real!
