The Undergraduate Awards Global Summit

This week, Dublin welcomes 120 of the world’s top performing students for a three day global event, The Undergraduate Awards Global Summit, the world’s only pan-discipline academic awards programme. Now in the third year of its international programme, this Irish-founded ‘Junior Nobel Prize’ recognises and rewards innovative young thinkers across 25 disciplines from business and economics to visual arts and design. This year, The Undergraduate Awards received 4,792 submissions from 209 universities in 27 countries, highlighting the achievements of graduates from Ireland and as far afield as Australia and China.

Commencing this Wednesday, the three day summit will give the 120 students an opportunity to meet and collaborate with a unique mix of their peers forging lasting connections, and encourage responsible leadership. The UA Global Summit also welcomes various thought leaders from various fields including British Film maker Lord David Puttnam, who will speak at a number of events throughout the summit.
