Friday Round Up

- We hope you all remembered to say Thank You on Ireland’s first thank you day yesterday, organized by the Irish Hospice Foundation.

- After finally breaking his goal famine against Rangers, Rooney finally apologized to Man Utd fans this week and swore he would never have joined arch rivals Manchester City.

- At Elevate we are feeling nostalgic and are very excited about the delivery of our real Christmas tree next week, fresh from the Dublin mountains. We are also having a desk decoration competition. We will post pictures of the winner next month.

- Not going to dwell on it but of course we spoke about the foul four year plan which was announced on Wednesday

- Looking forward to TopGear over the weekend. Our client SEAT is offering members of the public the chance to take part in HotLaps with Irish Racing Driver, Eoin Murray. All you need to do is visit the SEAT stand and sign up for the chance to accompany Eoin around the TopGear track in his SEAT Supercopa.

- Our client Moët & Chandon placed a fun advert in the current Grazia after William and Kate announced their engagement.

The Irish Hospice Foundation launched its Thank You Project in No 10 Ormond Quay this morning. Consisting of a beautiful Thank You Book and set of Thank You Cards, the project aims to remind us of the importance of gratitude and counting our blessings. Designed by Steve Averill of U2 fame, The Thank You Book is an exquisite 240-page, cloth bound A5 gratitude journal, which features messages of thanks from a range of Irish and international personalities.

Edited by Irish Times columnist Roisin Ingle, the book encourages us to recall and record all that we have to be grateful for: from accidents of fortune and the kindness of strangers to priceless gestures of love from those who care for you most. Among those lending their support to the project is Sinead O’Connor, who has recorded a special version of her song, Thank You for Hearing Me, which you can listen to here. We think this beautiful book is the perfect Christmas gift for family and friends – it costs €17.99 and can be ordered by calling (01) 679 3188
