Suicide Or Survive’s National Tea Break

Last Thursday, in the heart of The Liberties community at The Green Door Market in Newmarket, Rory Cowan shared a chat and cup of tea with one of the nation’s best listeners, RTE’s Joe Duffy. Rory and Joe were there with members of the local community to help launch Suicide or Survive’s (SOS), National Tea Break campaign, which runs throughout the month of September. During September, SOS invites everyone to get talking about mental health over a cup of tea, and raise funds for the charity to continue its wellness programmes. To take part in the National Tea Break, simply register and download a pack from www.suicideorsurvive.ie, then all that’s left is to get some friends, colleagues or the community together, pop on the kettle and get chatting. The National Tea Break pack includes everything needed to host a successful tea break.  All funds raised will be invested in bringing Suicide or Survive’s unique programmes and services to communities across the nation.
