The Indie Summit In London

We attended The Indie Summit in London this month, organised by thenetworkone. We got some great insights into current trends from Meabh Quoirin of Foresight Factory, who gave us three principles for the modern brand – invest in empathy, mean more to identifiers and live your values, literally. Communicating with Millennials was the focus for Jeff Froom. Key takeaways included the importance of brands standing for something and having a sense of purpose, co-creation and the just-in-time buyer mindset for sharable experiences and not material things. Other speakers focused on the dangers of the filter bubble and confirmation bias, the rise of AI, Augmented and Virtual Reality, voice commands and gender fluidity.
