The House Of Peroni Presents: La Primavera!

Fancy some springtime celebration this month? Then look no further than The House of Peroni Presents: La Primavera! The sights, sounds and smells of springtime in Italy will take over Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, Dublin 2 on Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st March, as Peroni Nastro Azzurro brings La Primavera to Dublin with a two day pop-up market that’s open to the public, offering visitors the chance to savour the flavours of Italy in the spring. Some of Dublin’s finest Italian eateries and artisan food suppliers will unveil delicious seasonal offerings at the market, which can be eaten al fresco at Meeting House Square or taken home to share at the family dinner table. Participating eateries include Luna, winner of the 2016 All-Ireland Best Restaurant Award, Dublin Pizza Company and A Mano, a specialist pop-up dedicated to fresh, handmade gnocchi. Luna will serve its famous Italian salume, while seasonal Irish and Italian produce will form the basis of the wood-fired Neapolitan pizza from Dublin Pizza Company. A Mano will dish up delicious handmade, fresh gnocchi, served with sauces made using locally-sourced meats and seasonal vegetables. Fresh fruit and vegetables will also be available to take home from the market.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro global brand ambassador, Dublin-based Federico Riezzo, has designed a special Peroni infusion to celebrate La Primavera, which he will be whipping up at the bar. Perfumed with the essence of flowers and spices reminiscent of spring, the La Primavera infusion combines Peroni Nastro Azzurro, gin, dry Martini, elderflower cordial, chamomile and thyme syrup, orange blossom and lemon juice. It’s garnished with a spring bouquet and finished with black pepper and jasmine oil. Peroni Nastro Azzurro on draught and bottles of Peroni Gluten Free will also be available at the market.

The House of Peroni Presents: La Primavera takes place in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, on Thursday and Friday, 30th and 31st March, 2017 from 7pm – 10pm on Thursday night and from 12pm midday to 10pm on Friday.
