Elevate Pr – 2015 In Review

SPRING
The year started with a bang for us with Showcase 2015, the Hennessy Gold Cup and launch of the Glasgow Comedy Festival. The 2015 Hennessy Literary Awards took place in The Westin Dublin while foodies rejoiced with the return of the city’s favourite food festival, Dine in Dublin.

Fashion was also high on the agenda as we unveiled Swatch’s spring/summer 2015 collection along with French fashion designer, Jean Paul Gaultier’s collaboration with Eastpak backpacks.

Showcase 2015 Day 1SUMMER
We helped Hennessy mark its 250th anniversary in Ireland with a gala dinner and press trips this summer, while Carluccios opened in Glasthule, with owner Antonio Carluccio in attendance.

MINT VELVET launched its autumn / winter collection, Lya Solis showed off her luxury fashions with a high end fashion show and Juvi Jewellery unveiled its latest line.

ID2015 launched Appetite for Design, a unique and spectacular food design exhibition and Cast & Crew, the most recent venture from the James Street South restaurant group in Belfast, opened its doors to the public.

New client Peroni unveiled three Irish Creatives who were chosen by the brand to explore their own interpretation of life in Italian style, and The Westin Dublin partnered with Eason to bring guests a new and exciting innovation – The Book Butler. Some lucky press visited the Bombay distillery and our favourite treat, PROPERCORN, officially launched in Ireland.

AUTUMN
London welcomed press, media and KOL’s for London Fashion Week with In the Fold firmly putting the work of emerging Irish designers on the map – it was then onto Dublin Fashion Festival quickly followed by London Design Week.

Fashion stayed to the forefront with MoMuse announcing its limited edition Hope pendant for Pieta House, and Heatons giving Irish media first look at its new autumn / winter 2015 collection.

To round off the autumn months, Richard Bruton officially launched Design Island, a new app aimed at helping tourists, as well as Irish people, discover and experience the best of Irish design, Veuve Clicquot supported Pink Polo in the Park in aid Breast Cancer Ireland and Moët & Chandon partnered with the Cliff Townhouse’s Oyster Festival.

WINTER
Christmas was the focus for the Dylan Hotel this winter, as it’s the first year the hotel will stay open for the entire period. We also worked with Lily O’Brien’s, Brooke & Shoals, Hennessy, Veuve Clicquot and Moët & Chandon to launch seasonal gift packs.

Microsoft launched Windows 10 Surface Pro 4 and new flagship Lumia devices, while Heatons teamed up with Pippa O’Connor to build an even stronger presence online and Belvedere Vodka hosted a special event ahead of the Irish premier of SPECTRE.

The year for us closed out with ID2015’s flagship exhibition Liminal, Give Irish Craft’s Christmas campaign, the second Hennessy Portrait Prize, an exclusive Krug tasting event and MINT VELVET’s spring / summer press day.
