Costume Celebrates Its 20th Birthday In Style!

Last month Fashion lovers gathered in Costume, Castle Market, Dublin 2, to celebrate one of Dublin’s fashion landmark’s 20th birthday. Costume was founded by Billie Tucker and her daughter Tracy in 1997 who were joined a few years later by Tracy’s sister Anne. From the moment Costume opened its doors, it has been attracting and inspiring generations of fashion fans and has continued its unwavering style success to this day.

Guests were treated to mini scone from The Pepperpot Café with freshly brewed tea and coffee, as they browsed the new Autumn Winter collection, that included ‘of the moment’ pieces as well as classic staples for your winter wardrobe. Designer Helen Steele, had created bespoke totes bags for each guest to take home. Co- founder of Costume, Billie Tucker, was in stylish company with her daughters, Tracy, Anne and Leigh Tucker (designer of her eponymous line Leigh Tucker Willow at Dunnes Stores), fashion editors, Bairbre Power, Sarah O’Hegarty, and Rosie McMeel, stylists Aisling Farinella, Corina Gaffey, Courtney Smith and Cathy O’Connor alongside female entrepreneurs, Ruth Monahan of Appassionata, Louise Stokes of Loulerie  and Lisa Duffin of Bottom Drawer.
