Ciara & Jon’s Road Trip Reality, a new online travel series, invites viewers on an exciting road trip to unearth both well-known and hidden gems that the Emerald Isle has to offer. Launching on a new travel and lifestyle platform, Shiny Day TV, Ciara & Jon’s Road Trip Reality is brought to us by former hosts of TV3’s ‘The Holiday Show’, Ciara Whelan and Jon Slattery. The 10 episode series sees the couple joined by their daughters, Bo and Edie, as they drive across Ireland, discovering the beauty of the countryside through the eyes of their little ones. The new series takes an inspirational, humorous and realistic look at travelling the country with toddlers in tow. In their down to earth, witty and often brutally honest style, Ciara and Jon attempt to figure out how best to juggle nap time and feeding routines, with tourist attractions and sight-seeing.
In the first episode, Ciara and Jon travel to Co. Donegal and experience the sights and treats that Bundoran has to offer, including Donegal’s Equestrian Centre and the magically scenic Fairy Bridges. Each episode showcases stunning aerial images of the landscape in each county or town the quartet visits.
