Bimm Dublin Unveils Its New Premises

BIMM Dublin, Ireland’s leading contemporary music college today unveiled its new premises at 115-117, The Coombe with a very special performance of Lonely Boy (The Black Keys) and Hold On (Alabama Shakes) by students from BIMM who are studying the BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music, which is validated by DIT. The students were also joined by singer-songwriter Cathy Davey, who tutors at the college. Due to overwhelming demand for its courses, which are accredited by DIT, BIMM Dublin has acquired its second premises, which are located less than five minutes’ walk from its headquarters on Francis Street. As the first building has already reached capacity in its first two years of opening, this new building will ensure the college can accommodate further new students from September 2013 onwards. All applications for the BIMM Dublin BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music (DT506) must be made through the CAO before 1st February 2013 as this is a restricted course and therefore there is no late application or change of mind facility available.
