BELVEDERE VODKA HOSTS VIP DINNER INTRODUCING THE BELVEDERE SPRITZ COLLECTION

VIP guests gathered on the transformed Rooftop Terrace of The Woollen Mills on Wednesday, 6th July 2016, for the launch of the Belvedere Spritz Collection. Hosted by Belvedere Vodka Global Education and Training Manager, Alice Farquhar, guests were invited to ‘Relearn Natural’ as they sampled five refreshing drinks from the collection, expertly paired with dishes by Jan Bartek, sous chef at The Woollen Mills.

On arrival, guests enjoyed a Belvedere reception and sampled the first refreshing Spritz of the evening, the Belvedere Thyme Spritz, whilst posing for pictures and snapping away shots of the natural themed décor. Alice Farquhar then guided guests through the new Spritz collection and the ethos of ‘Relearn Natural’, while chef, Jan Bartek, introduced the menu for the evening and outlined the inspiration behind the pairings and the importance of the locally sourced ingredients for the dishes.

For starter, guests were treated to a Belvedere Vodka marinated beetroot gravlax, served with pink grapefruit, cucumber and horseradish crème fraiche. To add a theatrical element to proceedings, this was infused with Belvedere Grapefruit smoke, which billowed out from under a Belvedere cover upon service. This fresh and colourful dish paired perfectly with the Belvedere Signature Spritz of natural grapefruit and thyme. A palette cleanser of Belvedere Vodka Bloody Mary sorbet was then served with the Belvedere Cucumber Spritz, before a mouth-watering main course of pork belly with Belvedere Vodka, star anise and burned orange gravy, spring cabbage and fondant potato, which was accompanied by the Belvedere Spiced Spritz. Ending on a sweet note, a delicious Belvedere Vodka marinated strawberry and gooseberry Eton Mess was served alongside a refreshing Belvedere Citrus Spritz.

Those in attendance on the night included designers Natalie B Coleman and Helen Steele, jewellery designer, Chupi Sweetman and fashion designer and

style commentator, Sonya Lennon. Also in attendance were lifestyle bloggers Louise Cooney and Lauren Arthurs.
