Artistic Celebrations At Dylan’s Tavern Restaurant With Imma

Patrons, artists, supporters of IMMA along with Dublin’s fashion and social elite all gathered on Wednesday, 26th November, at the Dylan Hotel to celebrate the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) and Dylan hotel’s first successful first year of partnership. On the night, guests were welcomed through the doors of Dylan’s brand new restaurant, Tavern, to enjoy the night’s festivities.

At the event, Dylan also unveiled its 2014 Christmas tree, which was designed and created by the talented, Helen Steele. Helen’s design used a traditional Christmas tree, which was decorated with a contemporary and modern twist, fitting nicely with the ethos of the hotel. The tree was then hand painted in Helen’s usual style, which involves her using a range of paints that she mixes in an air machine before projecting them onto a black canvas, or in this case, Dylan’s Christmas tree.

Those in attendance were treated to a selection of delicious cocktails and canapés. Created by Dylan’s expert mixologists, the cocktails on offer were taken from Dylan’s festive 12 cocktails of Christmas menu and included the two turtle doves (€10.50), a combination of Jameson Irish whiskey, Baileys, Frangelico fresh cream, chocolate bitters and mint bitters and the five golden rings (€10.50) a mixture of Gosling rum, Goldshlager, condensed milk and Angustura bitters.
