Nokia – NYFDA

Elevate has looked after the Nokia Young Fashion Designer Award (NYFDA) for four years. NYFDA is a third level student design competition that takes place at Easter time each year and aims to connect Nokia with fashion and style.
Final year students are given a design brief that features the latest fashion handset from Nokia. Their designs are shortlisted by a panel of judges who have included Jonathan Saunders, John Rocha, Peter O’Brien, Pauric Sweeney, Paula Reed and Eileen Shields.
20 finalists are selected and their outfits are showcased at a fashion event that has taken place in some of Dublin’s best venues including the Olympia Theatre, CHQ and the old Habitat building.
Elevate has grown the event and PR coverage through initiatives such as Ireland’s first fashion mob, celebrity judges and online activity. Each year the coverage has increased by an average of 50% to culminate in an AVE of €600,000 for 2009 giving Nokia a substantial return on investment.
Audi

Elevate handled PR for the Audi Experience Events which included the launch of the new Q5 and A6 cars in December 2008 at The Station Building, Dublin 2.
The events were pitched as the hottest tickets in town over two bespoke nights. Peter Jones, known to millions from his tough-talking appearances on Dragons’ Den, was present for the business event, while British classical music group Escala entertained the select crowd.
The following night the stylish lifestyle event featured performances from legendary electro singer, composer and songwriter Gary Numan and contemporary music icon, DJ David Holmes. They performed for an intimate invite only audience of celebrities, media, stylists and key opinion formers in the Audi exhibition space. The two musicians reflected Audi’s heritage of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’.
