Elevate
Interns
We are so grateful to our current and past interns who make our lives so much easier here at Elevate. PR is a demanding multi-tasking world and the daily to-do list can be scarily long.
It is wonderful to have enthusiastic young talent around that is eager to learn and delighted to get a taste for what the real world of PR is like (ie lots of computer time, clippings and evaluations).

Travel
by Marie McGrath
Forget backpacks, casual work and roughing it. My advice is to do Australia in style and cover as much ground as possible in a short amount of time. In four weeks, I managed to cram in Perth, Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns, Brisbane, Fraser Island, Noosa Heads, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Port Stephens, Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains and Sydney. It wasn’t relaxing but it sure was amazing.

Eilis Boyle is an Irish based fashion designer. Her blog, Silent Storyteller, is a collection of stories that inspire and amuse her while tying in personal thoughts about the fashion industry. Her use of vintage photos and quotes are beautiful and elegant, and are definitely worth a look! You can also check out her design collection on her website

Culture
Is it just us or does the St Patrick’s Day Festival give us a spring in our step and signal the end of a really challenging and chilly winter? For 2010, we really hope so.
Anyone who visited the Big Day Out yesterday could not help but be impressed by the mini Electric Picnic vibe and similarly excellent and eclectic food offerings. We have the Ceili to look forward to tomorrow (note to our American interns – you must check it out) and then the parade itself on Wednesday.
So celebrate our National Holiday with pride – and it is very nice to get a day off work mid week as well. Wishing you all fun-filled celebrations and a good rest.
